About this pattern

A toucan with a glossy black body, a bright yellow chest and a huge rainbow beak, set against a soft green jungle background. It is bold, tropical and fun, and it brings plenty of color to any wall. The beak is the star of the design; stitch it first so you can enjoy watching the colors appear, then work the body and finish with the background. The large background areas go quickly, which makes this a satisfying full-coverage project for intermediate stitchers. The finished toucan is about 6.4 × 8.6 in (16 × 22 cm) on 14 count Aida. Its bright colors look great in a kids' room, a sunroom or a bathroom with a tropical theme. A simple black or natural wood frame keeps the focus on the bold beak and the yellow chest.
