About this pattern

A fluffy white kitten with blue eyes and pink paws, holding one paw up as if to wave hello. It is soft, sweet and simple, with just 18 colors and a gentle pink background. White animals are a nice way to practice keeping your stitches even, because neat, same-direction top stitches make the fur look smooth and glossy. Stitch the eyes, nose and paw pads first, then the fur, then the background. A lovely gift for cat lovers or a calm, cozy project for the weekend. The finished kitten is about 5.7 × 7.6 in (15 × 19 cm) on 14 count Aida. With only 18 colors it is one of the gentlest full-coverage designs in our library, which makes it a good first step after small motifs. Frame it in white or pale pink for a soft, airy finish.
