About this pattern
A small stack of wrapped Christmas presents with green, red and gold paper and tied bows. The design is compact and uses about ten colors, so it is easy to follow and quick to finish. It makes a sweet decoration for a gift tag, the front of a Christmas card or a little framed piece next to the tree. Large blocks of one color mean you can stitch in long relaxing rows; save the bows and ribbon lines for last, and use a single strand to tidy any edges you want to define more sharply. On 14 count Aida it finishes at about 3.1 × 2.4 in (8 × 6 cm), small enough to stitch on a scrap of fabric. Make a few and glue them onto folded cardstock for handmade Christmas cards that friends will keep long after the holidays.
