About this pattern
A tiny decorated Christmas tree with a gold star on top. This is our smallest pattern: only about 32 stitches wide and ten colors, so you can finish it in a weekend even as a complete beginner. Stitch several and turn them into felt-backed ornaments, add one to a homemade card, or frame it in a mini hoop for a desk or windowsill. Start from the trunk and work upward through the branches in rows of half stitches, then add the baubles and the star last so they sit neatly on top. On 14 count Aida the finished tree is only about 2.3 × 3.4 in (6 × 9 cm), so a small piece of fabric is enough. If you want it even smaller, stitch it on 18 count and it will fit inside a bottle cap frame or a locket-style ornament.
