Nutcrackers are a classic holiday decoration, and this tall, narrow design suits a long frame, a door panel or a bookmark-style wall hanging. It is a detailed piece with plenty of small color changes, so it is best for stitchers who have finished a few projects before. Work the uniform section by section from the top down, and keep a highlighter handy to mark off finished areas on your printed chart. On 14 count Aida it finishes at about 5.7 × 9.5 in (15 × 24 cm).
